Well done to Elle. G who has been our Ray of Sunshine this week. The reason given by her nominator was that she does her best to ensure that everyone is included in her games on the playground.

Today, our congratulations go to James who was chosen for his lovely manners. Well done James - it’s really nice that the children have recognised this good quality as well as staff.

Congratulations to Libbie, our new addition to Y4, for achieving the 1st Ray of Sunshine award this year and after only having been in the class for a couple of weeks too! Well done Libbie.

Welcome to a new school year in Y4 boys and girls. The year has started really well and I’m very impressed with some of your knowledge and skills already. I’ve really enjoyed hearing all about your summer holidays (did we really have a summer?!) and I’ve found out a lot about each of you already from the “All about me” factfiles you have been completing. It has also been really nice to welcome Libbie to the class - she is like one of the team already! There are lots of new rules and routines in Y4 and you’re all coping with them really well. As you will know, this half term one of our big topics is the Tudors and Henry V111, so if you can find out anything at home or have anything useful to bring in then that would be great.
