Well done to you all!

    

I hope you all enjoyed our Harvest Festival Service on Thursday. The poems from all classes were excellent and I know the teachers are having a hard time choosing one to publish on the website. Y4 all tried very hard and I have found it extremely difficult to choose just 1! Well done to Ben, Sophie, Bronte, Olivia and Patrick (who read Jack’s poem) for reading out their poems in church. Some of the children obviously had more support than others when thinking of ideas for their poem. Therefore, I have chosen to publish the lovely poem below, where the writer had no adult help at all. Well done Ben!

Harvest Time

Harvest is a time of year when everyone should cheer,

A new day, a new time of year,

Rapid winds and sun,

Vegetables and food keep us out of a mood,

Eating food, yummy in everyones tummy,

Super vegetables,

Tea with fruit and veg.
